Impact Plan

In creating a film that inspires people to act, the resounding response from the audience, in our experience, is that they are left asking the question, “How can I help?” So we have created the Ceibo impact plan to allow our audiences to contribute directly to solutions. The Ceibo impact plan is designed to create a legacy from the film alongside the important stories that it shares. We have partnered with four organisations which are connected to the locations in which we were lucky enough to film the project. Money raised will be provided to these organisations directly.

We will use the national Australia and UK film tours to share the work of these organisations and to fundraise to support their work.

Our Partners

The Outlaw Ocean Project

Due to the film’s focus on ocean conservation we have partnered with The Outlaw Ocean Project produces high-impact investigative stories about lawlessness at sea and the diversity of environmental, human rights, and labor abuses occurring offshore around the world.

What began as an award-winning series in 2015 in The New York Times and a subsequent bestselling book in 2019 by Ian Urbina grew into The Outlaw Ocean Project, a non-profit organization whose reporting is now published as written and video stories in partnership with news outlets in dozens of countries globally.

Iyarina
